GOOGLE has announced an update to Google Calendar, increasing the color options available for event organization. Key changes include an expansion from 11 to 24 default color choices and the introduction of a full RGB color picker, allowing users to choose from up to 200 custom colors. The RGB picker is available only on the web version and in the Calendar API.
The update, which began rolling out on June 17 and is set for full deployment by late June, requires no manual setup and is accessible to all Google accounts. This update addresses the needs of power users who manage busy schedules and have previously relied on workarounds due to the old color limits.
