DUTCH authorities have dismantled a hosting network used for cyberattacks and disinformation, arresting two suspects and seizing 800 servers tied to Stark Industries. This company was reportedly a front for activities supporting Russian and Belarusian entities under EU sanctions. Investigators found that Stark Industries was linked to destabilizing operations against the EU, including cyberattacks and disinformation dissemination.
The hosting firm was established shortly before Russia's invasion of Ukraine and has drawn connections to Russian intelligence. Legal actions against Stark were prompted by its involvement in pro-Russian cyber operations, particularly the actions of the hacker group NoName057(16).
