APPLE patched the next version of its operating system, addressing 85 vulnerabilities across all of them, with none currently being exploited. The update covers the last three macOS generations and the last two versions of iOS/iPadOS, while tvOS, watchOS and visionOS patches were limited to the current release. It also includes the recently released Background Security Improvements, and some older watchOS versions did receive updates that do not address any security issues.
The supported builds listed include iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4; iOS 18.7.7 and iPadOS 18.7.7; macOS Tahoe 26.4; macOS Sequoia 15.7.5; macOS Sonoma 14.8.5; tvOS 26.4; watchOS 26.4; visionOS 26.4; Safari 26.4; and Xcode 26.4. CVE-2025-43376, a WebKit flaw that could allow a remote attacker to view leaked DNS queries when Private Relay is on, is among the vulnerabilities, as is CVE-2025-43534, which could allow a user with physical access to bypass Activation Lock on an iOS device; according to Johannes Ullrich.
