This shift indicates the rise of an 'agentic skill stack' in sectors like security engineering and cloud security. While technical roles remain in demand, they are evolving towards more strategic responsibilities, as AI takes over repetitive tasks.
However, there is a growing gap in entry-level positions, with senior postings increasing significantly more than junior roles. This necessitates a rethinking of training models for cybersecurity talent, emphasizing hands-on experience with AI systems.
