CYLAKE’S platform is designed to analyse security data locally and identify potential attacks without relying on public cloud infrastructure, delivering AI-native security entirely within the customer’s sovereign environment. The hardware-based cybersecurity approach aims to let organisations keep full control and sovereignty over their data, operating in on-premises environments or within a private cloud.
The funding will be used to develop the platform, with Cylake backed by $45 million from Greylock Partners, and commercial availability is expected in early 2027. Nir Zuk, who built Palo Alto Networks, is highlighted as starting over with Cylake, which he co-founded with others after retiring from Palo Alto Networks in 2024.
According to Cylake, the next generation of AI-driven cybersecurity requires pulling data from multiple sources into a single data layer for local analysis using machine learning and automated processes to detect anomalies and support incident response. 6 March 2026
