THE Citizen Lab reported that Stelios Kouloglou, a former Member of the European Parliament (MEP) involved in an investigation into the Pegasus spyware, was targeted by the spyware itself. His devices were infected multiple times while the PEGA Committee was active, using a zero-click exploit called PWNYOURHOME that affects Apple’s HomeKit. The first infection occurred shortly before a committee trip to Greece and the second during crucial reporting phases.

The report raises concerns about the breach of confidentiality regarding the committee's work and calls for the European Parliament to investigate the extent of spyware targeting within their proceedings.
