The attacks compromised sensitive assets like biometric records and criminal case files, with Chinese actors focusing on risk assessment of their nationals due to Balochistan's insecurity, while Indian actors seem driven by geopolitical rivalry.
Notably, a Complaint Management System used by officers and citizens was infiltrated, potentially exposing personal and complaint records, highlighting the dangers of centralized digital policing.
