VULNCHECK has raised $25 million in a Series B funding round to scale its vulnerability intelligence platform, with the latest round led by Sorenson Capital and bringing the company’s total investment to $45 million, according to SecurityWeek. The funding also included participation from National Grid Partners, Ten Eleven Ventures, and In-Q-Tel, and will be used to expand product development and accelerate growth.
VulnCheck’s platform tracks the lifecycle of vulnerabilities and their active exploitation, monitoring diverse data sources to provide intelligence on CVEs and prioritise patching beyond traditional scoring systems. It also tracks exploit availability, proof-of-concept code, and weaponized payloads to help security teams focus on the most immediately risky flaws, a approach described as surfacing indicators of compromise or exploit development early.
“Modern threats require more than just scans,” said Mark Kuhr, co-founder and CTO of Synack, highlighting the value of combining VulnCheck’s intelligence with automated AI penetration testing and human analysis, according to SecurityWeek. Written by SecurityWeek News, February 17, 2026.
