THE Ukrainian government can now access EU cyber support against cyber-attacks after being included in the EU Cybersecurity Reserve, approved by the EU Council. Despite not being an EU member, this allows Ukraine to utilize services from 47 trusted private providers managed by the EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), aimed at addressing significant cyber incidents. The initiative is part of the Digital Europe Work Programme 2025-2027, allocating €36 million for enhanced cyber threat response.
The legislation underpinning this support is the EU Cyber Solidarity Act, emphasizing solidarity and collective defense in facing cyber threats.
