MICROSOFT Edge will soon allow users to log in using Google accounts, enhancing user convenience without data synchronization between Edge and Chrome. Existing strategies let users import data from Chrome to Edge seamlessly. This integration comes after user requests dating back to 2020, aimed at increasing Edge's adoption, while Google remains uninterested in supporting Microsoft accounts.
Currently, the feature is available on Windows and macOS, with potential future expansion to Android, iOS, and Linux, aiming to improve user experience across various platforms.
