CLOUDFLARE has launched the Identity-aware AI Gateway, currently in open beta, along with User Insights, which is available at no extra cost to AI Gateway customers. The Identity-aware AI Gateway integrates with Cloudflare Access to provide secure access, allowing organizations to authenticate users and track AI usage by adding user identities to requests. This helps in managing budgets and monitoring data usage without surprise costs.
User Insights analyzes user behavior, identifying abnormal patterns that may indicate rogue activity or unauthorized access. The features include establishing behavioral baselines, cost tracking, and anomaly detection, ultimately aimed at improving AI governance and spending management.
