A significant security vulnerability has been discovered in the AI meeting assistant tl;dv that allows hackers to access users' conference call information. The app, which is used by over two million people including government agencies and large corporations, was misconfigured in its Google Firebase backend, enabling unauthorized users to view and join meetings. A hacker demonstrated this by infiltrating various calls, including those of government entities.
Additionally, exposed data included transcripts and invitee details from thousands of meetings. Experts warn of the potential risks posed by AI notetakers and suggest enhancing privacy settings to protect sensitive information.
