QUALCOMM and Google have announced a new laptop line called the Googlebook, built around Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite platform and integrated Gemini AI assistance. Dell and HP are named as the first manufacturers, with devices reportedly available for pre-order. The announcement describes the product as a renewed partnership between the companies after Google moved to its own Samsung-manufactured Tensor G1 processor for the Pixel 6 series in 2021.
According to the article, the Googlebook will use the Snapdragon platform’s Arm architecture and NPU to support system-level AI features.
