BOSTON Children's Hospital has been named among several organizations affected by a North Korean hacking operation, according to security researcher Vangelis Stykas. However, the hospital claims that its systems were not breached, attributing the issue to a former contractor’s personal device. Stykas, CTO at cybersecurity firm Kumio, reported that his investigation over 22 months found connections to 1,640 companies in 57 countries, with 700 to 800 experiencing significant intrusions.
