Northern Ireland cyberattack hits schools, risking student data

A recent cyber-attack in Northern Ireland has affected more schools than initially reported. The Education Authority (EA) notified parents of potential data breaches, stating that 23 schools were implicated, with 16 schools receiving notifications for the first time. Forensic analysis indicated that there is a possibility that personal data of students may have been accessed during the cyber incident.
