It solves two main issues facing AI agents: establishing a stable, verifiable identity for service providers, and providing a mechanism for direct payments for APIs and services.
Cloudflare Wallets works alongside the x402 protocol, which allows automatic micropayments embedded in HTTP requests, removing the need for separate payment processes. The system includes two wallet types: Account Wallets for human administrators and Virtual Wallets for AI agents, each with specific controls over spending and identity disclosure. This dual-layered approach facilitates automated interactions in a secure and efficient manner.
