SCOUTZ , a prospect-intelligence platform for managed service providers (MSPs), has entered open beta. Announced in Phoenix, Arizona, on 24 September 2026, the platform is designed to help MSPs prepare for sales meetings by attaching dated evidence about a prospective customer’s technology environment to the account record. Fifty MSPs from three peer communities participated in the preceding closed beta.
The platform performs agentless external checks covering email authentication, certificates, subdomains, exposed services and 156 checks from a live evidence registry. It combines those results with public business events, such as new locations, IT hires and announced initiatives, to help sellers identify relevant questions. With consent, SCOUTz can also inspect Microsoft 365 configuration through a read-only connection, covering identity, application consent, security settings and managed-device context. It does not read emails, documents, files or chats, and makes no changes to the environment.
SCOUTz says each finding is linked to a dated check and named evidence source; unknown results are not scored as clean. The system provides remediation guidance, work plans and ticket-ready text, while rescans compare results with a pinned baseline. It produces separate client and technical reports. AI drafts explanations, but deterministic checks decide whether findings exist and people retain responsibility for final claims. The service offers 30 days without charge from workspace provisioning, followed by a stated list price of $279 per month.
