SAMSUNG’S Galaxy S26 Ultra is poised to showcase a new privacy feature dubbed “Magic Flex Pixel,” a panel-level privacy concept described as a software-activated, physical-grade privacy shield that sits within the display substrate rather than a traditional filter. The event for Galaxy Unpacked 2026 is slated for 25 February at 10:00 AM PST in San Francisco, with a concurrent global livestream, and pre-orders are anticipated to commence in early March if the launch proceeds as scheduled.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to run with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and its design is said to move away from the previous angular form toward more ergonomic, rounded contours, with a profile of 7.9 mm. The camera system is anticipated to include a primary lens with an improved f/1.4 aperture and a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto lens, alongside a potential return of a variable aperture mechanism.
The software centerpiece will be the new “Agentic AI” debuting with One UI 8.5, emphasising intent comprehension and cross-application orchestration to execute complex sequences based on a single descriptive command.
