OPENCLAW , an open-source AI agent, recently launched its largest update, dubbed 2.0, culminating in a staggering 16,000 Pull Requests from 933 contributors, of whom 569 were first-time participants. This extensive upgrade involved sweeping modifications across major areas like installation, messaging, and browser interface, due to the rapid growth in both contributors and code volume.
The update streamlines initial setups by utilizing existing ChatGPT or Claude subscriptions, enabling users to start conversations more quickly. Additionally, the browser interface is fully redesigned for a better user experience, allowing users to configure settings while interacting directly with the AI. A new shared cloud session feature enhances collaboration by enabling multi-user functionalities.
