VALARIAN , a UK-based sovereign infrastructure company, has secured $50 million in Series A funding, following an earlier $20 million in seed capital. The funding, led by New Enterprise Associates and other investors, will support the expansion of Valarian's platform called ACRA, designed to manage AI models and workloads in cloud-agnostic environments while ensuring user sovereignty over encryption keys.
The architecture allows for real-time isolation of compromised workloads and is compatible with existing applications. Valarian offers two tracks: Valarian Enterprise for regulated industries, and Valarian Defence for government and military use. CEO Max Buchan emphasized the importance of integrating sovereignty within the architecture from the ground up.
