The mechanism will allow the countries to discuss AI risks and benefits, with a dedicated dialogue scheduled for November. The countries also agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding on crisis communications and preventing crises between their militaries. US officials said Washington would not slow its AI development or fully integrate its efforts with China.
