ON August 27, DataBreaches reported a customer alerting them about security issues on Click2Mail's checkout system, which reportedly involved debit card hijacking. The customer had experienced the issue twice, initially on June 2 and again shortly before contacting DataBreaches. Despite attempts to notify Click2Mail, the customer received no response. DataBreaches contacted Click2Mail, and Lee Garvey, the owner, confirmed that the site was compromised by a card skimmer.
Garvey indicated that Click2Mail had responded to all customers who reported misuse of their cards and had engaged cyber forensics experts for an investigation. He assured commitment to security and informed that affected customers would soon receive notifications. DataBreaches noted the prompt and detailed response from Click2Mail, encouraging good communication.
