In April 2025, SRG conducted a physical intrusion leading to the compromise of TPL's data, though TPL only reported a single compromised laptop. Recent claims by SRG suggest they accessed substantial corporate data, and they attempted negotiation for a ransom, which TPL declined.
On August 7, 2026, SRG launched a second attack, this time remotely, leading to the exposure of confidential files containing sensitive information of class action members. Despite SRG's characterization of TPL's security as robust, they plan future attacks on firms that refuse to negotiate. TPL has not publicly addressed the recent incidents or confirmed the breach.
