This feature cuts down the effort for users when describing problems, while providing additional context for more accurate responses. It can be activated through the Gemini add-on in the Chrome menu by clicking 'Ask Gemini', then selecting 'Select from Screen' to highlight content.
This feature is gradually rolling out with Chrome version 149. Google's aim is to enhance Gemini's functionality, making it an AI assistant that understands user context more effectively.
