SECURITYWEEK recently introduced the Critical Impact Awards, a program recognizing significant contributions in industrial cybersecurity. Unlike traditional awards, these honors are based on merit and independent reviews by a panel of cybersecurity experts. Nominations are free and open to all, with a focus on outcomes rather than marketing efforts. Awards will be divided into two categories: Technical Excellence & Research, and Community & Leadership. Nominations close on August 31, 2026, and winners will be revealed at the ICS Cybersecurity Conference on October 6-8, 2026.
