Banco Vimenca, WIRED, and Government Data Leaks Surface on Dark Web
According to SOCRadar, the Dark Web Team identified several high-profile data leak claims this week, including alleged exposures affecting Banco Vimenca, WIRED subscribers, Mexico’s Tax Administration Service (SAT), and Neighbourly.
The Alleged Database of Banco Vimenca is Leaked is said to include over 190,000 scanned identification cards belonging to active customers, with leaks reportedly posted on an Onion blog; the TOR blog is linked to the LeakNet ransomware group, which had December 17 noted in relation to the victim list.
For WIRED, around 2.3 million subscribers are cited as affected, with initial indications on 20 December 2025 and a threat actor named “Lovely” claiming responsibility and threatening more data, including over 40 million Condé Nast users. The analysis points to Broken Access Controls and IDOR vulnerabilities within Condé Nast’s identity platform, enabling data exfiltration in a breach that reportedly involves PII such as emails, full names, home addresses, and phone numbers.
Separately, a listing alleges approximately 120,000 XML invoices from Mexico’s SAT, and a Neighbourly breach claims a 150 GB database with over 213 million lines of data.
