ON 9 March 2026 the Jerusalem Post reported that the Israel National Cyber Directorate had received a growing number of reports of cyberattacks aimed at destroying information and systems to disrupt the functioning of the home front economy, and that National Cyber Directorate Head Yossi Karadi said no organisation essential to the home front had been harmed.
By 24 March 2026, Israel National News reports that Karadi stated around 50 Israeli organisations and companies were completely wiped digitally by cyberattacks that involved around 20 different offensive groups and hundreds of hackers. Despite the attackers’ apparent successes, Karadi reportedly said Israeli cyber defences have prevented adversaries from achieving significant successes against critical infrastructure and have blocked attempts to disrupt the economy’s continuity. according to Israel National News.
