Moldova health database hit in cyber attack, 30% data lost

Moldova’s Cybersecurity Agency has reported a large-scale attack on the country’s main medical database, damaging around 30% of the information. The agency’s deputy director said the attackers had been targeting the platform over the past month. The database is a key hub collecting data from regional and central hospitals, including patients’ personal information and financial reporting from the healthcare system.
