MICROSOFT Agent 365 is now generally available for commercial customers, with general availability announced alongside new capabilities and integrations to help organisations observe, govern and secure agent activity across local, cloud and SaaS environments. The rollout includes discovery of shadow AI and local agents, supported by Microsoft Defender and Intune, and a secured, managed environment for agents to run in Windows 365 for Agents.
It also extends network controls to Copilot Studio agents and end-user devices, enabling visibility of agent traffic across internet, SaaS and AI services and the blocking of unsanctioned agents. A public preview of Agent 365 registry sync with AWS Bedrock and Google Cloud connections is also highlighted to enable cross‑platform observability and governance.
Agent 365 is available in Microsoft 365 E7 or standalone at USD15 per user per month, and previews of the new capabilities and ecosystem partner agents demonstrate Microsoft’s aim to scale governance and security as agents proliferate.
