QUANTRO Security has emerged from stealth with $2.5 million in seed funding, provided by Google’s early-stage AI fund Gradient, according to Gradient. The New York-based startup, founded in 2025 by veterans of CrowdStrike, Tenable and Qualys, has built VM[.]Analyst, an AI agent that harvests data from multiple sources to provide actionable intelligence.
The solution integrates with an organisation’s existing cybersecurity stack, ingests data from CMDBs, cloud services, firewalls and vulnerability management platforms, normalises it, and delivers intelligence to reduce risks. The agent analyses the organisation’s risk landscape based on context and security controls, offering recommendations while keeping humans in the loop, and enables security teams to interact with the AI or delegate tasks via natural-language prompts.
Quantro emphasises data governance, encryption in transit and at rest, that no customer data is used to train its AI model, and strict regional data residency is enforced, with seed funding lifting the company’s valuation to $25 million after its first customer signings.
