Darktrace delivers the next evolution of unified and proactive NDR
Darktrace unveils the next evolution of unified and proactive network detection and response, branding its solution as Darktrace Network Endpoint eXtended Telemetry (NEXT), the industry’s first mixed-telemetry agent powered by Self-Learning AI. The approach bridges the network and endpoint gap by combining native endpoint process data with network telemetry, enabling autonomous investigations that trace threats from initial network activity to the root cause on the endpoint.
A key component is Cyber AI Analyst, a sophisticated agentic AI system that autonomously performs end‑to‑end investigations across all major IT domains, prioritising incidents and improving detection accuracy with process context. The update also introduces no-telemetry endpoint data collection and a new cost‑benefit analysis for patching, aimed at delivering device-level vulnerability context and business‑focused justification for security actions.
Darktrace describes these innovations as advancing Continuous Threat Exposure Management, with features such as Exploit Prediction Assessment and Deep & Dark Web Monitoring to validate exploitability and surface credentials. A live launch event is planned for 9 December 2025 to showcase these cross‑domain capabilities across Darktrace’s ActiveAI Security platform.
