APPLE on Monday published 11 new security advisories detailing dozens of patched vulnerabilities across macOS and iOS, with iOS and iPadOS 26.5 fixing more than 60 CVEs, including 20 WebKit issues that can cause crashes or expose sensitive data. According to SecurityWeek, several fixes were also rolled out in macOS Tahoe 26.5, which resolves nearly 80 vulnerabilities, while macOS Sequoia 15.7.7 and macOS Sonoma 14.8.7 received patches for additional issues.
The notice adds that watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS have also received security updates since they share the same foundational architecture as iOS. Some advisories indicate that a patch for a flaw enabling recovery of deleted messages has been made available to older iOS versions, and the FBI reportedly exploited the weakness to recover Signal chats from a device.
