CLOUDFLARE’S latest feature, Organizations, is being introduced in beta to help enterprises manage Cloudflare at scale. The beta rollout is public and will unfold over the next several days for enterprise customers, with the aim of providing a cohesive way to manage users, configurations, and analytics across many Cloudflare Accounts.
At the heart of the offering is the account list, a new Org Super Administrator role, and the ability to manage shared configurations and analytics across all accounts within an organisation, built on top of the existing Tenant system. The launch followed an innersource development effort that added almost 133,000 lines of new code and removed about 32,000 lines of old code, alongside a 27% improvement in permission checks for enumeration calls.
There is no additional fee for using Organizations, and the roadmap includes organisation-level audit logs, billing reports, more analytics, and additional roles, with rollout planned for broader customer types in the coming months.
