Take It Down Act fuels SF's deepfake porn site takedown

The podcast episode 'Deepfake porn sites are going offline' revisits an interview with David Chiu, San Francisco City Attorney, discussing the legal actions taken against deepfake pornography websites that exploit images without consent. Research indicates a troubling acceptance of non-consensual pornography, especially among AI users. Chiu's office has successfully shut down several websites and was instrumental in implementing the Take It Down Act, which criminalizes non-consensual intimate imagery in the U.S.

The episode emphasizes the ongoing fight against the misuse of deepfake technology and the societal implications for individuals, particularly teenagers.
