Stronger together: New Beazley collaboration enhances cyber resilience

Today’s cyberthreat landscape demands more than technical expertise: it requires a unified response team of technical responders, insurers, brokers, and legal counsel. Microsoft says the collaboration with Beazley as an approved incident response partner for its InfoSec and Media Tech policies is a strong step to align incident response with insurance expertise and governance.

Beazley is described as a globally recognised insurer with deep security expertise, and the partnership aims to help organisations recover faster while reinforcing trust across the organisation and with partners; according to Beazley, “We believe that cyber resilience is built on speed, expertise, and trusted partnerships—helping our clients recover faster and with greater

confidence when every second counts.” Microsoft Incident Response is positioned to provide an end-to-end portfolio of proactive and reactive services, with direct access to Microsoft engineering resources and Threat Intelligence to support customers facing incidents. The arrangement also highlights a focus on faster reimbursement, streamlined onboarding, and reimbursable incident response services under eligible cyber insurance policies through brokers or insurers.
