RIG Security has emerged from stealth with a $12 million seed round to tackle identity risks posed by agentic AI. The Tel Aviv–based startup, founded in 2025 by Guy Kozliner, has built an identity protection platform designed to distinguish legitimate human actions from those carried out by autonomous AI agents that adopt a developer’s or service’s identity. The seed funding was led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Brightmind Partners, with participation from the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund and a cohort of angel investors.

The company says its technology is already in production with Fortune 200 organisations across financial services, insurance, healthcare and technology.

Rig’s approach rests on two core components: the Rig Identity Correlation Engine (RICE) and Bifrost, an endpoint sensor. Using machine learning and mathematical modelling, RICE resolves the same identity across providers, clouds, on‑premises systems, network edges and endpoints, generating an identity dependencies graph that maps how identities connect through accounts, permissions, sessions and trust relationships.

This aims to show whether an action originates from a legitimate user or a rogue agent that has borrowed that user’s identity. Bifrost monitors identity behaviour at the origin and enforces policy to block risky actions by an agent without disrupting the normal user.

The company asserts its platform provides identity security posture management and identity threat detection and response for non‑human identities as well as humans, and notes notable uptake among large enterprises seeking to secure AI‑driven operations.
