CLOUDFLARE'S Project Galileo, launched 12 years ago, offers free cybersecurity services to over 3,400 organizations including journalists and human rights defenders across 120 countries. To mark its anniversary, Cloudflare released a comprehensive report detailing cyberattacks on civil society, highlighting key findings such as higher targeting frequency of civil society groups and the prevalence of DDoS attacks. Additionally, qualitative case studies of selected organizations were published.
New partnerships were formed to bolster protections for civil society, focusing on regions outside North America and Europe. Cloudflare aims to continue expanding its protective measures for at-risk groups globally.
