ACCORDING to Insight Hospital and Medical Center, an unauthorized individual accessed its network between 22 August 2025 and 11 September 2025, with a substitute notice issued on 26 January 2026 after the hospital learned of unusual activity in September 2025.
The notice states that potentially affected information could include names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver’s licence numbers, passport numbers, financial account information, and treatment-related information, including health insurance details.
On 24 February, a group calling itself Termite added Insight to its dark web leak site, claiming to have acquired 360 GB (about 900,000 files) of confidential data, and they leaked the data in a multi-part tranche that includes numerous .jpeg and .dcm files. It is unclear whether Insight had responded to Termite or negotiated any terms.
DataBreaches[.]Net emailed Insight to ask whether individual notification letters have been mailed or if the Health and Human Services has been notified; the post notes it will be updated if a response is received.
