AI Takes Center Stage at DataTribe’s Cyber Innovation Day

SecurityWeek reports that DataTribe’s Cyber Innovation Day this year is set for 4 November 2025, with the DataTribe Challenge spotlighting five finalists chosen to pitch to venture and private equity audiences. Each finalist receives a $5,000 award to cover expenses, while the real prize lies in presenting before cybersecurity investors at the Innovation Day conference.

Of the five firms, four are directly involved with AI, including Ackuity, Cytadel, Evercoast, and Starseer, with Tensor Machines focusing on hardware security rather than AI itself. Ackuity provides security for AI agents by collecting real‑time telemetry from inside agent systems to enable threat detection and response, while Cytadel offers AI‑driven autonomous red teaming based in London.

Evercoast supports embodied AI data for robotics and autonomous movement training, and Starseer delivers a platform to reduce risk and improve resilience for AI systems by analysing models, data, and architectures. The event is described as a win‑win for both startups and DataTribe, offering early access to finalists for the firm and exposure to top cybersecurity investors.
