ACCORDING to SecurityWeek, Outtake has raised $40 million in a Series B round to develop a unified platform for maintaining digital trust amid AI advancements, bringing the startup’s total funding to $60 million. The funding round was led by ICONIQ with participation from CRV and S32, along with a roster of angel investors including Satya Nadella, Nikesh Arora, Bill Ackman, Shyam Sankar, Trae Stephens, Bob McGrew, Guillermo Rauch and John Donovan.
The company said the proceeds would be allocated to expanding engineering, product and go-to-market teams to scale alongside customer demand. Outtake has developed a platform that uses agentic AI to defend against modern attack surfaces, featuring capabilities for advanced search, threat categorisation and automated risk handling.
It also employs open source intelligence collection to spot references to an organisation’s assets across text, images, videos and audio, and includes digital risk protection to identify impersonation across domains, social platforms, apps and ads.
