Cloudflare launches secure isolated relays for Media over QUIC

Cloudflare has enhanced its Media over QUIC (MoQ) service by adding isolation and access controls, enabling users to create dedicated relays for their applications. These relays allow publishers and subscribers to use separate credentials for enhanced security. The update supports draft-14 and draft-16 versions of the MoQ Transport protocol and is open for free use during the beta phase. MoQ operates as a publish/subscribe system via CDN servers, reducing the need for dedicated server management.

Users can create relays through a provisioning API or via the Cloudflare dashboard. Overall, this update aims to simplify high-performance media streaming with low latency.
