FRENCH cybersecurity startup MokN has successfully raised $15 million in a Series A funding round, increasing its total investment to $18 million. Founded in 2023, MokN aims to transform identity protection by using innovative honeypots to lure attackers and expose compromised credentials. The funding, led by Google Ventures, will assist with expanding the platform to the U.S. and the U.K., where credential-based intrusions are prevalent.
Key plans include hiring talent in various sectors and enhancing its phishing prevention technology, as described by CEO Gautier Bugeon, who emphasizes a proactive approach to identity recovery.
