Hush Security Emerges Stealth to Eliminate Credential Threats With No-Secrets Platform

Hush Security has emerged from stealth with an $11 million seed funding round and a machine access platform that eliminates secrets. The Tel Aviv-based startup, founded in 2024 by Micha Rave, Chen Nisnkorn, Shmulik Ladkani and Alon Horowitz, replaces vaults and secrets managers with just-in-time policies to determine access. The seed round was led by Battery Ventures and YL Ventures. According to Gartner, 40% of organisations will adopt an approach not dependent on secrets by 2027.

The platform defines the role of a secret key as a policy within the software, allowing access only to specific machines or groups under defined conditions, thereby removing the need for credential-based access altogether. Hush argues that this no-secrets approach, while requiring policy development, reduces maintenance overhead and strengthens security in environments increasingly populated by cloud, on‑prem and AI-enabled workloads. 10 September 2025.
