Steam Store Gets a Massive Redesign: Wider Pages, New Trailer View, and Hi-Res Images
Valve has begun rolling out a major redesign of the Steam Store pages to all users, aimed at delivering a broader, more cohesive browsing experience. The update expands page width to 1200 pixels, introduces higher-resolution images, and adds new viewing modes for trailers and screenshots, including a Theatre Mode pop-up viewer.
The overhaul spans multiple sections such as game store pages, search results, recommendation feeds, Store Hubs, Steam Charts and the News Hub, unifying their visual style while making them more spacious. However, the company noted that the Steam homepage is not part of this rollout, with similar design improvements being developed for the homepage separately. The changes had been tested with beta users and have now been officially released to the entire Steam community, according to Valve.
