Anthropic warns Claude users after infostealer hijacks sessions

The malware, detected on users' computers, is not directly linked to Claude but is spread through unofficial downloads or malicious applications. Victims had their compromised sessions terminated, saved payment methods removed for security, and were advised to ensure their systems were clean before re-adding payment methods. The company refunded unauthorized charges related to the incident.
