CyberRidge Emerges From Stealth With $26 Million for Photonic Encryption Solution
Israeli security startup CyberRidge has emerged from stealth with 26 million in funding for its photonic encryption solution, disclosed in SecurityWeek. The round comprises a 10 million seed and a 16 million extension led by Arkin Capital with participation from Elron Ventures, Redseed VC, and the EU Horizon-EIC program; the announcement was published on 29 October 2025.
CyberRidge has developed a plug‑and‑play photonic layer transmission system that transforms transmitted data into encrypted optical noise to prevent interception and deciphering, with a proprietary photonic key that changes constantly and must be present the instant data arrives. The company claims the technology makes data immune to traditional in-transit interception tools and also resistant to quantum analysis, addressing post‑quantum threats and “harvest now, decrypt later” scenarios.
It notes that multiple organisations in defence, intelligence and telecommunications across Europe, Australia and Singapore, including Israel’s military intelligence unit, are deploying the system, and that it has 30 employees with a flagship European Innovation Council grant.
