A leading southern European bank has strengthened its cyber resilience by adopting Darktrace / Proactive Exposure Management to unify a previously fragmented risk landscape fed by vulnerability scans, pen tests and risk reports. The solution consolidates scanner outputs, CVE data and operational context into a single AI-powered view, mapping multi‑stage attack paths across network, cloud, identity, email and endpoints to reveal risks that traditional CVE lists miss.
Since deployment, executives have gained continuous, real‑time visibility and the security team has saved more than four hours per week that were previously spent aggregating data; risks are prioritised by business impact and real‑time context, enabling faster remediation. The bank also notes improved governance and oversight, with ongoing monitoring and board‑level reporting that supports compliance with the EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
The CTO emphasises that the aim was not merely to list vulnerabilities but to show what matters most for the business and how to reduce exposure, and the firm intends to continue its proactive security journey, including a live launch webinar on 3 February 2026. According to Darktrace.
