Tenzai Raises $75 Million in Seed Funding to Build AI-Powered Pentesting Platform

Tel Aviv, Israel based Tenzai has emerged from stealth with $75 million in seed funding to build an AI-driven platform for penetration testing, aiming to continuously identify and address vulnerabilities. The company, founded by Pavel Gurvich, Ariel Zeitlin, Ofri Ziv, Itamar Tal and Aner Mazur, says the platform is designed to automate a process that has traditionally been manual and episodic.

The funding was led by Greylock Partners, Battery Ventures, and Lux Capital, with additional participation from Swish Ventures and several individual investors. Tenzai says it is already piloting its platform with large organisations in the financial services, healthcare and technology sectors.

Gurvich described how AI enables elite, nation‑grade offensive capabilities at enterprise scale, arguing that real security assurance requires autonomous AI that can find and fix vulnerabilities across numerous daily-changing applications. The additional cash will be used to expand research and security teams and to support growth in North America and Europe.
