Mobile banking Trojans continued to be prevalent, with 52,723 installation packages detected in Q3 2025, about 10,000 more than in Q2, and the Mamont family holding a large share of infections while Coper led in terms of attacked users. The report highlights a surge in mobile ransomware Trojans, noting that the number of ransomware installation packages more than doubled to 1,564.

Adware remains dominant among users attacked, notably HiddenAd and MobiDash, while droppers and backdoors linked to banking Trojans contributed to the shifting malware landscape on mobile devices.
