Pixel PIN Bug Triggers Reboot Loop After March to May Updates

### Summary of Pixel Reboot Loop Bug

Google's recent software updates have caused a bug affecting some Pixel device users, where entering their PIN leads to an immediate reboot, resembling a reboot loop that makes the device unusable. This issue mainly affects users who installed updates in March, April, or May 2026.

#### Key Points:

• **Affected Devices**: Users who updated their Pixel phones to recent versions are experiencing boot issues.
• **Google's Response**: The company has acknowledged the problem and recommends that affected users reach out to support for tailored solutions, as no universal fix is currently available.
• **User Guidance**: Google suggests describing the specific symptoms to support for better assistance.
• **Temporary Solutions**: Some users have been advised to perform a factory reset, which would result in complete data loss, while others have been recommended to install a beta build, which has not resolved the issue for many.
• **Mail-In Repairs**: Affected users can also opt for mailing their devices for repair, but this again results in data loss.

#### Conclusion

Users are currently left with limited options: awaiting Google's fix or potentially losing data through resets.
